I appreciate the little Coffee maker and supplies in a room, breakfast is great.Interior design and hotel lobby is very nice, and also furniture is stylish. Near the hotel there are many museums, art galleries, parks, restaurants, pubs and the best coffee shop is just around the corner. The hotel’s standout feature is the restaurant Senses, which specializes in slow-food cooking using local, organic ingredients. It offers a seven-course tasting menu for dinner and an expansive wine list.
Lobby renovations are ongoing but did not detract from the stay. The Albus has everything you could need or want for a night away. Start with a delightful glass of cava as you check-in. Unwind in your beautiful room, and get ready for a Michelin rated dinner at our very own Senses Restaurant.
Amenities in each room include plush bathrobes and Nespresso coffemakers. Bathrooms were fully renovated in early 2017 and have a futuristic look, with brand new fixtures, sinks, and walk-in rain showers. Some rooms also have standalone soaking tubs set against chic mosaic panels. Rooms situated near the street can get noisy, so the staff leaves earplugs.

At the time of check-in the hotel will charge all eventual extra's (city tax, upgrade and any service charge). The staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. Truly the best place we have stayed with regards to excellent staff. Contemporary and urban feel with a spacious living area. Splendid City Rooms come with a choice of a twin bed or an inviting king size bed. This is the best choice when you want to explore the always bustling Amsterdam with friends or family (max. 3 adults).
You can leave the doors open for the connecting feeling or close them for more privacy. Our front office is happy to arrange the perfect stay for your family as you can book the majority of the tickets at the front desk. On top we give you a complimentary late check-out and free breakfast for kids.
